Arranging snake removal in Telopea
Calls are answered 24/7. Our office checks catcher availability and location before arranging help. Ask for the call-out fee, what it covers and an estimated arrival time. No extra loading applies on weekends or public holidays. If the snake has disappeared, say so before confirming a visit.
Telopea’s two creek corridors
Vineyard Creek Reserve runs along Telopea’s western edge; council identifies an entrance at 52 Rock Farm Avenue. On the eastern side, Rapanea Community Forest follows the Ponds Creek corridor near Evans Road. These are distinct locations, so “near the creek” can send help to the wrong side of the suburb.
For a reserve-edge sighting, name the road, property or signed entrance and the side of the fence where it was seen. Stay on a clear, safe route. Bushland nearby provides context, but it does not establish which snake species is present at a particular address.

Questions about a Telopea call-out
What if the snake enters a garage or a shared driveway?
Keep residents and pets out of the affected area. Do not move stored boxes or use a car to push the snake away. Report the garage, parking bay or nearest fixed landmark and arrange safe access for the catcher.
Should I photograph it for identification?
A photograph is optional. Use zoom only from where you are already safe; never move closer, handle the animal or block its path for a better image. You do not need to identify the species before calling.
What if it disappears into a drain or garden bed?
Record when and where it vanished, then leave the cover undisturbed. Do not open drain grates or dig through vegetation. Ask whether a visit is useful and what charges apply if the snake cannot be located.
Reduce shelter around Telopea homes
When there is no snake present, keep storage off garage floors, maintain clear garden edges beside doors and paths, and clean up food that attracts rodents. Have suitable door gaps and building openings repaired. For shared areas, agree maintenance with the owner or strata manager. A tidy property can still be crossed by wildlife.

Counts apply to the whole square, not each suburb listed. A suburb appearing in a square does not mean a snake was recorded in that suburb. These are public observation records, not SITC call-outs, unique snake totals or a measure of danger.
