Coverage and boundary exceptions

This hub covers four local service guides: Campbelltown in the Campbelltown LGA, Camden and Narellan in Camden, and Appin in Wollondilly. Appin is included because NSW planning identifies it within the Greater Macarthur growth area and because its practical connections run north toward Campbelltown and Camden. Holsworthy remains primarily in the South-West Sydney hub even where bushland connections make a contextual Macarthur link useful. This hub does not represent every locality in the wider Macarthur region.

Macarthur combines established urban centres, new housing areas, rural-residential land and significant bushland. The Nepean River biodiversity corridor and its tributaries connect riparian vegetation, farmland and reserves; Camden Council also manages large areas of bushland including Cumberland Plain Woodland and River-Flat Eucalypt Forest. Around Campbelltown and Appin, homes and worksites can sit close to gullies, reserves and expanding growth-area edges.
